What We Do

PhaseOne’s ultimate goal is to determine the performance and reliability of your products and structures. We believe that adding NDT methods to the product development process gives your company confidence in the quality of your products and allows you to be certain that you are running machinery with the longest lifespan possible, eliminating major long-run costs and ultimately catastrophe.

Our highly qualified NDT technicians offer numerous ways to investigate structures and materials without causing them damage. We ensure that our work is done with integrity while we test all structures and machinery in question while allowing it to preserve its structural function

Visual Testing

Visual Testing (VT) is used to inspect a variety of forms such as castings, forgings, machined components, and weldments. The structural steel, power generation, petrochemical, and aerospace industries benefit greatly from this resource test. Types of equipment include Optical and Electron microscopes, Fillet Weld Gauges, Inspection Glasses, Bore Scopes, and Optical Comparators. The ultimate advantage PhaseOne wants to provide with Visual Testing is to promote quick identification of defects and long-run repair costs due to issues that weren’t caught early

Magnetic Particle Testing

Our highly trained NDT Technicians use this form of testing to search for imperfections by examining the magnetic flow of metals or other materials that could cause a discontinuity. The benefits of Magnetic Particle Testing is that the results are very quick, simple, and highly sensitive to faults unseen by the eye.

Penetrant Dye Testing

Using specialized developers and Penetrant Testing Kits, our team’s goal is to identify potential leaks and cracks in a system.

Ultrasonic Testing

Our Non-Destructive Ultrasonic Tests run high-frequency sound waves through a material to identify potential changes or imperfections under the surface.

Why is Non-Destructive Testing so Important

The importance of Non-Destructive Testing in avoiding catastrophic failures cannot be overstated. Beyond the important aspects of safety, NDT statures provide an essential guarantee of the quality of a product, ultimately adding economic significance to the manufacturing process. The initiative of our services is to help manufacturers avoid the costly effects of a poor-quality product reaching the consumer.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT) can be defined as the use of non-intrusive techniques to determine the integrity of a material. Simply put, our priority is to measure or inspect without causing harm. Methods range from simple visual or leakage tests to more complex techniques utilizing high-frequency ultrasound or magnetization. Inspections can be performed at any stage of a component’s life cycle and, although almost always hidden from the public eye, NDT plays a critical role in everyday life. Over the years, through continuous development, Non-Destructive Testing has become an invaluable tool to virtually every industry imaginable assuring dependability, integrity, and public safety as well as improving product quality and profitability.
